OUR MISSION
Partner with schools to provide supplemental services aimed at preventing violence in schools, empowering parents to carry those messages to their homes and ensuring every child sees school as a safe haven and every teacher can focus on teaching without the fear of violence.
OUR AREAS OF FOCUS
Parent Education: Provide and share information so we all feel equipped to know how to answer our kids’ questions about senseless school tragedies and the resulting drills they go through. Understand how to spot and address warning signs in our own children.
Empathy Education From The Start: Teach our lower elementary students empathy and inclusion so as to avoid feelings of loneliness that are often pinpointed as the root cause of children acting out.
Provide Tools As They Grow: Equip our upper elementary students with the tools to express their own feelings of anger in productive, non-violent, ways. Encourage them to “say something” if they see or hear a threat of violence from their fellow classmates.
